Random Monsters
Today's posting is pretty neat, particularly if you are into OSR and are actively playing the various D&D clones out there. The article's premise is a bit silly (players wash rinse and repeat with monsters) and assumes a lack of imagination on the part of DM's that might be insulting to some. However, the charts are pretty clever and would be useful in a game to quickly make something new and weird. It reminds me a lot of the Monster Burner from +luke crane and +Thor Olavsrud, only much less involved.
