I was far less prepared for this coming weekends show than I thought I was. A lot of my works needed to be matted and I was missing some odds and ends in my kit. All sorted now, but not without a bunch of sweat and anxiety.
Honestly, I was so busy with this stuff I had no time to write or paint at all the last few days. I got a stack of canvas boards just waiting for me to start work on a Universal Monsters series that popped up into head the other day. I also have two gessoed boards that are demanding I finish work on an album cover I owe someone.
And of course there is the last book of the Mystery Box that needs around 50 more poems so I can finish that project by the end of the year.
Never seems to be enough time to get it all done.

But I did. I just finished packing up my Jeep with my tent set up and a shit ton of art. I’m excited, and honestly, anxious. Ever since I first wandered the art fair a few years ago, I have wanted to be there as an artist.

Technology
I was reading a summary of a study somewhere about how when people anthropomorphize AI they are less prone to finding the mistakes it makes. When you call AI it vs him/her you have less tolerance for its bullshit basically. Makes sense. No one puts up with a forklift that doesn’t work.
Along those lines, 404 Media had another really good podcast episode covering related topics. As always, they are worth a listen. Link
