Gods & Monsters
A rumination on mythology, canon, and how we killed our gods and monsters.

I've been wresting with this essay for a bit. It is one of those personal ones that gnaws at your ability to sleep at nights. Usually, once I start writing, the words flow onto the page. I may take a day or two to capture the core of what I am trying to say, but once I do everything just happens.
This essay was the opposite. I picked it up and put it down for weeks. It fought me. Hopefully I won.
